Flexible ongoing lessons

A steady course for broader progress, with priorities reviewed as your confidence and needs develop.

Concentrate on a defined task: a presentation, a move abroad, a writing skill or a series of conversations.

An exam preparation plan

Work backwards from the exam date, balancing guided lessons, independent practice and progress reviews.

What might a lesson look like?

Build German fluency through a real task.

Role-play an appointment, an order or a conversation with a colleague.

Speak, receive focused feedback and try again with fewer prompts. We can examine pronunciation, intonation, flow, grammar, syntax and register, selecting the most useful priorities for this learner.

Carry fluency beyond the lesson.

A possible fluency goal: Rehearse an appointment or workplace exchange relevant to life in Switzerland, then clarify an unexpected detail.

A small practice routine connects the lesson to your week: a recording, a short text, a vocabulary recall task or a real conversation.

Choosing an exam course? Tell me the awarding body, qualification, level, specification and exam year. Preparation is agreed for that particular course; a general language level alone does not determine exam readiness.

Based in St. Gallen: lessons can connect with Swiss life, with comparisons to Germany and Austria. We distinguish Standard German from the Swiss German dialects you may hear around you.
